Manage Annoying Posts and Pages on Facebook

Facebook is the most widely used social networking site in the world. With its large user base, many people and organizations are on Facebook and sometimes it can be difficult for users keep itself from being annoyed from post which we don't like. There are many tools available on Facebook to manage friends, page, groups or posts easily.

But, many users aren't familiar with the options available. Well, if you don't like a particular page than you should not like that page and it is also important that you aren't accepting friend request whom you don't know in real life.
You may fall into situation were you will have to accept friend request or like page. Your friends might have created some pages or friend you know really wants you to accept his/her as friend on Facebook but you aren't interested on their posts 'cause its annoying. In this post, I will show you various ways to manage annoying posts, pages and friends on Facebook.

Blocking Annoying Posts
Recently, Facebook have launched various ways to manage posts easily. If you see a story which is not interesting or you don't want to see, you can click on Arrow key to get the option to hide it. Read it below to know more.

• When you find a post which isn't interesting, tap or click on the arrow located on the top right corner and choose "I don't want to see this" from the context menu.
• Now the post will be hidden and you'll get an option to undo it if you wish. You'll also see a link asking Why don't you want to see this? Click on the link.
• Now you will see three to four option. See the image given below to know more.

• I felt that post annoying and therefore I choose the first option "It's annoying or not interesting". If you think you find a post which is annoying than you can choose this option. You can see other options in the screenshot above, choose one you think the reason behind you don't want to see that post.
• After choosing an option, click continue.
• Now you will be given option to Unfollow that page or friend. Apart from unfollowing, you'll also given option to unlike the page or message feedback.

Tip: Unfollow that page/friend if you don't want to see posts from that page or friend.

• Click Done.

Adding Friends to Restricted List on Facebook

Sometimes there are friend on your neighborhood or your school with whom you don't want to show your posts or you don't want to see their. In that case you can add them in the Restricted list. They will not know that they are on your Restricted List and will see only the posts or activity you share with him or if that activity is visible publicly.

• Go to the profile of the friend you want to add to restricted list.
• Click on the Friends drop-down box which is at the bottom right corner of that Facebook Profile.
• Click on the option "Add to another list."

• Now click on the Restricted List that appears on the next menu.

• The person will not be able to the post which you share to your friends.

Next time, when you post than change the privacy of the post to be visible only to your friends and the post which you share publicly they will be able to see it.

Want to follow back person whom you unfollowed previously? You can easily see the summary of last persons you have unfollowed and followed. Facebook give you option to view your full activity log.

1. Go to your Facebook Profile.
2. Click on View Activity Log.
3. In the next page, click on "More" on the left sidebar and select following.
4. You can now see the list of persons unfollowed/followed.
