How to Use Android Phone as a Mouse or Keyboard

Have you ever wondered to use your Android phone as a wireless mouse or as a keyboard? Accessing your files in PC? It is a great way to use your phone to control your PC. You can use your device as a trackpad, wireless keyboard, media device etc.

Monect PC Remote lets you turn your phone into plethora of accessories in matter of few seconds. This app will not only transform your phone into a Mouse and Keyboard, but also a Gamepad, Data Cable, Media Controller and many more.

You'll need to download two apps (one for PC and one for your phone) to get started. Follow the following simple steps to know how it works.

First, go to the official site of Monect and download & install the required file [given in step 2] on your PC.
Next, go to Google Play Store and download this app. It is not necessary to root your device.
Done!

Note: You phone and PC must be connected on the same network, otherwise it will not work. After connecting both device on same wireless network, follow next steps.

Open Monect app on your Android.
Wait while it scans and find your device on the network. Once finished, click on the IP address of your PC to connect.

Once connected, you'll see following screen on your phone.

As you can see in the screenshot above, there are plenty of options available. To use your Android phone as a wireless mouse/trackpad, click on Touchpad options.

You can switch to My Computer mode to browse your PC Hard Drives. To download or view the file on your phone, tap and hold the file for a few moment to see the options.
There are many, many options available. Check if all the modes works on your device.

Most of the options works well and you'll not face any issues. You may like to check few setting of Monect Host on your PC like password, automatic startup etc.
