Change Title Bar Text Font Size & Font Family in Windows 10

If you use Windows 10 then you might have noticed the decrease in font size of the Title Bar text. The font size is too small and it don't look good. Title Bar text size should always be greater than the content. Find it annoying? Read this post.

Title bar text font size is set to 11 by default in all the previous versions of Windows and it should be. In Windows 10, the font size of almost all the items is set to 9 including Title Bar, Tooltips, Icons, Menus etc. You could also change the font family of these items using a third party application Winaero Tweaker, you will not need any third party application if you just want to customize the font size.

Following the following easy steps to change the Font size of title bar text in Windows 10.

Right click on the desktop and select Display Settings option. It'll take you to Display Settings app.

Alternatively, you can go to display settings by navigating to Settings > System.

First, click on the "Advanced Display Settings" link and then click on "Advanced sizing of text and other items". It'll take you to Display Setting where you can change the font size of various items including Title Bar.

Under "Change only the text size" section, select "Title Bars" from the left drop-down box and then choose 11 (or 10 according to your preference) in the drop-down box in the right side.

Click Apply button to save the changes. It will now change the Title Bar text font size to 11 (or 10 depending on font size you've selected) in all the Window.

You can also customize the text size of other items such as Tooltips, Message Boxes, Menus etc. from the Display Settings window.
